When we first met Danika and Callie, we knew it was going to be a FUN night. They chose a  Victorian Plantation Wedding in Broussard, LA as their wedding venue.  It offers a picturesque night time ceremony gazebo area that is just breathtaking.

Fortunately for all of us, their night was captured by a professional photographer, Janeen Elaine Photography and she was kind enough to share some of her amazing photographs with us. From their walk down the aisle to the “I Do’s”, their ceremony was magical. Here you see them exchanging their vows with Rev. Dan Latour Officiating.

First Dance

After some additional photographs, it was time for their First Dance. They selected  Madonna – Crazy For You as the perfect way to celebrate their first dance together as a married couple. They were so happy! You can still see the gazebo lit up in the background.

Shortly after we opened the dance floor and got the party going, the rain started to fall. Since we were doing everything on the back patio area, there wasn’t any place to hide. While we had everyone under the patio, Dance Floor Lighting still kicking, we started to play some sing-along songs. Everyone joined in and we were having a blast despite the rains. I have never heard “Sweet Caroline” sung quite so loudly in all my years of being a DJ. Everyone was having a blast and going with the flow.

Then all  of a sudden, the rain stopped and everyone just headed back out onto the dance floor. Even with the rain, this party never stopped. We continued to play and they continued to dance. This was a unique experience that I never witnessed before and was so honored to be a part of their special day!
